Together with Neva you will explore the feminine psyche and the challenges facing women in today’s culture. Yoga Therapy is a practical application of the ancient knowledge of the sages. Physical injuries and limitations, as well and mental/ emotional issues are addressed through mindful practice. The philosophy of yoga is a living system that is as vital and accessible now as when first recorded by the sages of 5000BC. This was and is a wisdom of Self Knowledge and the key is in the Heart. What does this mean for us in practical 21st century terms and how do we manifest this as a reality in our loves? It means that despite our emphasis on technology that promises to bring greater ease to our lives, the simple truths endure.

Visualization Meditation and Nidra
Yoga Nidra is one of the truly untapped treasures of the yoga tradition. Yogis believe that is it not just past traumas, but also daily stresses and disappointments that slowly drain us of our inner vitality and hope, resulting in the inability fulfill our potential for joy and happiness. This is Yoga’s systematic approach to unwinding accumulated stress from the deepest layers of our being. Through guided meditation in an extended svasana or corpse pose, layer upon payer is relaxed until you are in a state of sleep with just the slightest trace of awareness. It is in this state that your fullest potential is available to you to change the course of your life. When working with a resolve or “sam kalpa” in this state, the sub conscious is ripe for change. When coupled with conviction and positive feeling your resolve will take root and manifest. Reach deeper states of relaxation than sleep in which the mind is receptive to change and growth.

The yogic road map for this journey can be symbolized by our evolution through the stages represented by the chakras and their corresponding elements. The first step is to set our hearts right. The second is to clean and strengthen the temple of our senses through asana practice. A percentage of the proceeds from these events goes to the Prem Rawat Foundation, spearheaded by Neva’s teacher Maharaji, who brings a message of peace to the world. Dance for Health/Sacred Dance, sometimes called Fusion or Trance dance by Neva, is a marriage of the two great rivers of healing, yoga and dance. This sacred form of dance dates back to humankind’s earliest expression of gratitude to the earth, sky, and the Great Spirit. In this remembrance we tap into our most authentic core and our relationship to the larger fabric of life. This spontaneous dance heals separation from our truest selves returning us to wholeness, integrity and vitality. Through honoring the entire myriad of human emotions from anger and sadness to joy, release into a state on inner freedom is possible, in which the small self merges into the ocean of the bigger self, freedom, expanded awareness and bliss are the result.

Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu physiophilosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu brings balance to the body's energies, which promotes optimal health and well-being, and facilitates our own profound healing capacity. It is a valuable complement to conventional healing methods, inducing relaxation and reducing the effects of stress. Jin Shin Jyutsu employs twenty-six "safety energy locks" along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. When one or more of the paths become blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the local area and eventually disharmonize the complete path of energy flow. Holding these energy locks can bring balance to body, mind, and spirit. Learning Jin Shin Jyutsu engages one in self study, self help. Through the process of "now know thyself" we recognize the wisdom of the body, and we learn to interpret the messages provided and utilize them to restore balance.
